Australian Decorative and Fine Arts Society (ADFAS)
The Association of Australian Decorative and Fine Arts Societies promotes education in, and the study of the decorative and fine arts, by offering high quality monthly lectures on diverse topics within the arts. ADFAS Mudgee provides a yearly programme of illustrated lectures given by overseas and Australian lecturers chosen for their communication skills and expert knowledge in their fields. BUSHWALKING


Mudgee Bushwalking Club & Bike Riders
The Mudgee Bushwalking Club & Bike Riders aims to do either a walk or cycle every fortnight during the cooler months of the year. In our off season, members go camping as a group or plan future events. The Club is affiliated with the Confederation of Bushwalking Clubs and as such all the members from (from Mudgee, Kandos, Rylstone, Gulgong) are covered by insurance. Registered visitors to the walks or cycle events are also covered by insurance and the club welcomes newcomers. Registration is $25 per new member with a yearly renewal of $20. Mudgee Breast Cancer Support Group
The Mudgee Breast Cancer support group meets on the second Monday of each month, 10am-2pm at the Education Room, Mudgee Community Heath Centre, corner of Mears and Church Street. Members meet to gather information and provide practical support. The group can help with living with cancer, enjoying life after cancer, coping with cancer treatment and information about health services. Mudgee Cancer Support and Friends

Can Assist -Mudgee and Districts Branch
Can Assist is a grass roots, community based charity dedicated solely to supporting country people affected by cancer and their families. Rural Can Assist Branches can provide financial assistance for local people affected by cancer. This assistance can help with costs such as travel and accommodation for treatment, wigs, prosthetics, pharmaceutical bills and in some cases general financial assistance. Look Good, Feel Better
The Local Branch of “Look Good Feel Better” is a volunteer run program to help women dealing with the side effects of treatments for cancer. Workshops are held several times a year, which are a fun morning with volunteers from the local beauty industry, including Make-up Artists, Beauty Therapists and Hairdressers. Ladies will leave the workshops feeling much better about their appearance after learning how to apply make-up and head care in the form of wigs and scarves and turbans. These workshops are free and the ladies receive a beautiful bag full of Make-Up and skin care products. Mudgee Wig Library
The Mudgee Wig Library is now up and running, which is a service to help with ladies dealing with hair loss from medical treatments. Meals on Wheels has been helping frail older people and younger people with disabilities and their carers stay in their homes where most are happiest is at the heart of the matter by delivering meals straight to their door. The Leisure Group -Mudgee Baptist Church

Probus
Probus is a club for retired or semi-retired men and women who are interested in expanding their interests and enjoying the fellowship of new friends. Parents, Carers and Grandparents of a child with an Autism Spectrum Disorder are invited to attend a free Education and Support Group at Mudgee Community Health Centre. The group meets on the third Wednesday of each month from 10am – 12pm. Australian Breastfeeding Association
The ABA is a voluntary organisation established in 1964 to encourage and support mothers who wish to breastfeed their babies and to promote skilled and loving mothering while creating in the community an awareness of the importance of human milk. Vision Impaired People (VIP) Friendship Group (VIP)
VIP supports those going through transitional stages of sight loss, as well as their families and friends. The group offers personal support and connects visually impaired people to organisations and equipment that can assist them through life. VIP meets at 10am on the second Wednesday of each month at Mudgee Business Services, Town Hall Arcade in Byron Place. Morning tea provided. Leukaemia Foundation Patient & Carer Support Group
Leukaemia Foundation Patient & Carer Support Group and Blood Cancer Education Sessions are held bimonthly in Mudgee. The next occurs in November. The Leukaemia Foundation can assist people with leukaemia and blood -related diseases with safe transport to and from hospital treatments and access to fully furnished 'home away from home' accommodation for regional families required to relocate to the city, as well as emotional support, advocacy, educational programs to help people live with their disease.

The Kandos/Rylstone Men's Shed is located next to the Railway Station at Kandos, and is currently open every Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 9am to about 1pm. Cudgegong Adult Choir
The Cudgegong Adult Choir meets every week during school terms from 5-6.30pm in the Anglican Church Hall. There are no auditions and people are welcome to come and try for a week or two before they join. The fee is $50 per term, with some concessions. About 45 members perform a wide-ranging repertoire including Bach, Verdi, folk songs, African and Gospel. Since the choir formed about 18 months ago, singers performed at concerts in Mudgee, Dubbo and Gulgong, gigs, markets and social get togethers. Cudgegong Valley/Edith Parsons Physical Culture
Physi is a combination of dance, ballet, and exercise routines. If you picture synchronized swimming without the water & nose plugs, that is the basic idea of Physical Culture.
